The Square/ The Dream of Nine Clouds, 1976

This book was first published 40 years ago, and has been printed an additional 130 times. It surely is the monument of Korean Literature.
Locked-room without open space or open space without a locked room. As the first and only fiction that dealt with the partition of South and North Korea with an ideological approach, it serves as a classic in modern Korean Literature. The protagonist, Myoung-Joon Yi's tragedy and aspirations are those of our nation.

Once Upon a Time, 1979

This play of unshakable structure, poetry-like instructions, compressed dialogs, and poetic tension of the dialogs, which also has the possibility of being expanded to the poetry world, shows the amazing play writing skills of In Hoon Choe which hadn't been constructed by any other Korean playwright.
